This architecturally five needled pine, with glaucous steel blue foliage is a very attractive small conifer for any garden. It has a number of slender trunks reaching upwards and bearing long lasting cones and good blue colour all year round. The height after 20 years is only about 2m (6 feet) so this is a terrifically useful blue conifer for borders as well as conifer gardens. It is salt tolerant so good at the coast. Keep well watered until established.
